Lois was born and raised in Torrance, California, and is the oldest of two siblings. Her Korean background has always influenced a big part of her identity growing up. She currently majors in Psychology with a minor in Brain and Behavioral Health, and is passionate about equal treatment among minority groups, especially members of the neurodivergent community. She hopes to spread awareness about the importance of being understanding, respectful, and compassionate to those who are sometimes labeled as different by society.

Lois discovered occupational therapy through a friend who recommended the career option to her. After thorough research and numerous talks with many OT grad students and OTs working in the field, she decided to pursue pediatric OT as she enjoys working with children. However, because she is relatively new to the career, she is looking to expand her experiences and is open to other OT options as well. She plans on entering grad school for occupational therapy and being involved in the healthcare industry.

Lois joined the team in the Summer of 2023 and hopes that through Level Up Solutions, she will be inspired by hardworking, like-minded individuals who share a passion for improving the well-being of the neurodivergent community. She is excited to experience growth, both as a direct support professional and with the people she will be working with, and to open a new chapter with the team during her last year in college.
