Monica was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, as the youngest of three children to Mexican immigrant parents. Growing up in a supportive family, she had numerous role models who guided her as she explored her passions. From an early age, Monica has enjoyed helping others, dancing, singing, and cooking.

With a longstanding dream of working in the medical field, Monica found her calling in Medical Assisting. She is currently pursuing her associate degree in Medical Assisting at West Los Angeles College, aiming to become a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). Monica is eager to build a career that allows her to make a positive impact on others' lives and plans to further her education in the future.

In the fall of 2024, Monica joined the Level Up Solutions team as a Direct Support Professional. In her free time, she loves cooking, baking, watching TV, and spending quality time with family and friends. Monica is excited to support her participants in developing their life skills while expanding her own knowledge through the diverse experiences she will gain in her role.
